Chris Russell of ESPN 980 has reported that McNabb responded Owens’ tweet from MNF.
“It’s unbelievable how they can comment on what I’m doing over here?” he reportedly said. McNabb also said Cincinnati quarterback Carson Palmer makes more money than he does and cited the Bengals’ 2-7 record.

When you engage in an public form of entertainment, and that’s what professional sports are, there’s no room to be upset when someone comments on your performance. People consistently talk about how horrible actors, singers, and politicians are. Why be so defensive when a colleague who knows the game critiques your lackluster performance. Granted, it wasn’t a nice thing to say, especially since TO has his own issues. But, it’s well within his right and common practice.
