Hip-hop is once again banding together in support of a great cause. Various legends in the game, from Roxanne Shante, Kool Herc, Sugar Hill Gang and more have gotten together to form a nationwide bowling team that will raise breast cancer awareness.

The team, spearheaded by UTFO’s Kangol Kid, Roxanne Shante and film exec Shaunda Lumpkin, will be called the Hip-Hop Pin Drop, and will kick off in NY this January.

Other artists participating include Dana Dane, Doc Ice of UTFO, DoItAll, Daryl “Chill” Mitchell and Jam Master Jay’s son Jason Mizell Jr.

The event is part of the Mama Luke Organization’s efforts to raise funds to fight breast cancer, AHH reports.
