Charles Oakley talked to Sid Rosenberg on WQAM in Miami about the New York Knicks, LeBron James and Charles Barkley.
When asked if he likes Isiah Thomas, Oakley said he has nothing against him and then took an opportunity to insult Barkley.
“I have nothing against Isiah but he made a lot of comments about the Knicks in the old days. He’s a great player, just like Charles Barkley’s a great player, but he’s an asshole,” Oakley explained. “My thing is, when Barkley played basketball, he didn’t practice, he wasn’t a leader, he wasn’t this or that, he just had natural talent so he got chosen to the Dream Team, All Star team because he had the talent and he was the franchise player on the team.”
The former Knick went on to say that Barkley “wasn’t real to the game.”

Oakley is just mad because he wasn’t half the player CHUCK was!!
Oakley was my fav player back in the days when the Knicks were all about Defense, and really nothing else. my pops and I would just wait to see when he would knock someone the F out…lol
