Singer Elton John and husband David Furnish welcomed a baby boy on Christmas Day.

John, 62, and husband David Furnish, 48, received a 7-pound, 15-ounce baby boy through a surrogate.

His name is Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John.

In a joint statement, John and Furnish say their son is healthy and doing well. This is their first child together.

The two married in 2005.
