The singer/actress opened up to Latina Magazine about her highly publicized divorce from The-Dream, who cheated on her and filed for divorce while she was pregnant with their child.

Looking back, she has no regrets about ending the nuptials.

“No matter what, you can’t change who you are. I know that now. I tried to be someone I wasn’t because I wanted my marriage to work,” Milian said. “But ultimately, if it’s not working, it’s not working.”

Giving birth to her child, Violet, in March has helped her move on.

“Being a new mother definitely makes me feel so much sexier than ever before,” she said. “There’s a certain responsibility that I carry being a mom that makes me feel very confident and so blessed. Being a mom is the best thing that’s ever happened to me.”

In 2011, Milian says she’s completely moving on.

Christina Milian Has Always Been a Beauty In My Book, as well as a sweet voice! I never understood why The Dream Got Lucky to get her. When he look like the insecure and down Low guy. I will Say She still Bad, and now with some more confidence she’s def. A super MILF! In any real mans book. I’m glad Dream is outta the pic. Maybe some Real(maybe not a “celebrity” whatever that’s good for) will treat her the right way! #Weoutchea!(S/O ta BigBoi)
