Lil Wayne and Young Money Take to Twitter to Refute Claims They Dissed Dark Skinned Women

A story was circulating the gossip sites early today, claiming Wayne and his Young Money cohorts (namely Mack Maine, Birdman and Gudda Gudda) had a run in with a few models in a hotel, and proceeded to say some not-so-great things regarding “dark-skinned” women, being that 2 of the 3 young ladies were not “light”. They mentioned Wayne’s line in his song with Eminem where he raps, “beautiful black woman, I bet that she look better red” and said he used that line again with them. They also said Wayne said he chose the mothers of his recent children for a reason and that his first daughter, who is “dark skinned”, will be the only child he has that isn’t light. Sounds crazy! But gossip is gossip and it already seemed strange being that the model said they met up with Young Money in a Miami hotel….when all of the men have their own residences there.

The guys eventually took to Twitter today to clear the air. “Just read da funniest “blog story” ever about me n my fam…..We color blind over here..if a female is beautiful she’s beautiful!! Luv” tweeted Mack Maine. Weezy followed up with, “Rumors or as dumb as the people who believe them,” followed by a more passionate, “Y’all know I didn’t say that shit!!!!!” and lastly Gudda Gudda with, “if you believe that shit on mediatakeout then ur just as stupid as the people who wrote it..”

And there you have it.

They took to twitter for damage control and nothing else. Wayne has for a very long time told us through his lyrics what is up. AND THERE YOU HAVE IT!!! People stop defending Wayne for the wack things he says and do!!!!

Yea I understand preference. I prefer dudes that are over the height of 5’11″ and don’t kiss men in their mouths regardless of the relation. But you don’t hear me saying “Light skinned would look better if it was dark” And I never would. I have love for ALL black men. I just notice the dark ones first. That’s a preference. Wayne has mostly told us in his lyrics how he feels about dark skin and short hair.

The woman i feel most for is Reginae, (the woman she will become) she will grow up with a insecurity about herself because of her father and his lyrics about Dark Women. How the hell is she supposed to create a loving view of herself when her father shits on what she is.

First of all the quote from Lil Wayne’s song is not with em but with Drake. Secondly, “beautiful black woman, I bet that she look better red” he ain’t talking bout redbone chicks but his gang affiliation. Do your research.
