Jared Lee Loughner — the man accused of shooting 18 people, including Rep. Gabrielle Giffords — made a brief appearance in court today to formally hear the charges against him. A preliminary hearing was set for January 24.

Giffords remains in critical but stable condition.

Jared Lee Loughner shoots 20 people, and kills 6 (including a judge and congress representative)….but no one calls him a terrorist. perhaps it has to do with the fact that he is a white male in his mid twenties of some protestant faith in a predominantly white country. had …this been a spic, nigg, or sand-nigg you can bet people would be 100 times more angry.
