Kim Kardashian is lashing out at MTV following reports that 90 girls at a Memphis high school became teen moms over the past year.
“I find it so sad and disturbing,” Kim wrote on her blog. “It seems that shows like ‘Teen Mom’ are all of a sudden making teen pregnancy seem cool in the eyes of young girls. The kids from these shows are all over the news, even on the covers of magazines, and have become almost like celebrities, but girls, these are not people you should idolize!”

(CNN)–Kardashian goes on to say she would never have dreamed of taking on such a huge responsibility at that age.
“When I think back to when I was 16, there is no way I would even have considered having a baby. That thought wouldn’t even have entered my head,” she writes. “Having a baby is one of the biggest and most life-changing decisions a person can make, and while I’m not saying that no teen is in the position to raise a child, having a baby so young shouldn’t be seen as the trendy thing to do.”
The brunette beauty concludes by urging girls to think carefully before making such a monumental decision.
“Talk to your family, friends, teachers,” she says, “and most of all, be careful.”
Meanwhile, “Teen Mom” star Amber Portwood has a few words of her own for Kardashian.
“Last time I checked, Kim Kardashian had a sex tape floating around on the internet and I’m pretty sure she made a lot of money off of it,” Portwood told E!. “She made a sex tape when she was younger and she wants to bash the girls on ‘Teen Mom’?”
Portwood, who is mom to two-year-old Leah added, “If you read the articles about the show, they do nothing but talk about how the show reveals how hard it is for all of us. It doesn’t glamorize anything! It shows the heartache we’ve all gone through,” Portwood told E!. “We may be ‘celebrities’ because because our face is out there, but it’s only because we’ve done some bad things. That’s not glamorous.”

Kim didn’t make a sex tape to get famous. She and her boyfriend at the time (Ray-J) recorded themselves and he leaked it. Even if she did make the tape on purpose, she was an adult and that’s completely different than young 16 year old girls getting pregnant on purpose to be on a stupid reality show because they want to be famous for 15 minutes. If you already had a kid and got selected than ok, but if your mind state is to get pregnant and have a kid to be on a show at 16-17(which is what a lot of these girls are doing) than your a retard. Your ruining your life and that babies life for fame.
I watch teen mom every week and ima young black father and it is not a “glamorous” life style, anyway long story short #kim love the show & the tape no disrespect but stfu, don’t go blaming a television network for trying to shed light on a growing epidemic of teen sex & unawareness && amber you just stfu you disgust me as a human for your actions knowing that your a some what “celebrity
