Former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Terry Glenn was arrested Thursday on charges of driving while intoxicated and possession of marijuana.

According to Denton County (Texas) police records, Glenn was released after paying $3,011 bond.

Glenn couldn’t be reached for comment.

Glenn played five seasons with the Cowboys and caught 208 passes for 3,337 yards with 20 touchdowns. He began his career with the New England Patriots in 1996, then played one season with the Green Bay Packers in 2002 before joining the Cowboys. In his 12-year career he had 593 receptions for 8,823 yards and 44 touchdowns.

His time with the Cowboys ended before the start of training camp in 2008 when he was released. The Cowboys wanted Glenn to take a reduced contract because he had bad knees and there was a potential he would need microfracture surgery.

After a few weeks of discussions, which included Glenn firing his agent, then rehiring him, the Cowboys decided to release him.
