If you weren’t living under a rock yesterday, chances are you were watching the Super Bowl and saw Ms. Aguilera belt out the National Anthem. Now, her voice was amazing and the performance would have been great………if she didn’t flub the country’s most important song!!! Instead of singing, “O’er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming,” she repeated the line, “What so proudly we hailed at the twilight’s last gleaming,” changing the word “hailed” to “watched.” (Watch it here)

In response to the incident, Chrissy released the following statement: “I got so lost in the moment of the song that I lost my place. I can only hope that everyone could feel my love for this country and that the true spirit of it’s anthem still came through.”

Eh, I get it. Nerves. It happens to the most seasoned of vets!!! Better luck next time boo.
