allow me to preface by saying im not a hippie of an animal rights activist. Honestly though, fuck that guy. He knew the risks if any thing tranqualize the lion dont kill it. It was harder for me to watch the lion get shot then that guy get eaten. The guys job was to tend the lion getting attacked is just a risk he takes. the lion on the other hand didnt sign up to be in a cage. I know that all sounds like i should be eating granolla. but its true.
Wow… I mean – that’s brutal. But if they were going to kill the lion, they should have done it while the guy had a chance. He was hamburger by the time they had a gun there. – I feel so bad for that poor lion. Such a beautiful and majestic animal, and they treat it like a bad dog or housecat.
It must have been panic and fear that stopped them from saving the man. The lion must be killed regardless if it attacks a man. They could have used a knife for that matter and saved the mans life. I would have pulled out my trusty swiss army and cut that damn lions throat. Oh, I forgot, I bet PETA is in there somewhere…….I am starting PETP- people for the ethical treatment of people.
To all the people saying shoot the lion:
They took this animal out of the wild and placed it in a cage. Why does the lion deserve to get shot for following natural instincts? Shoot the guy to put him out of his misery and maybe he will learn to not mess with a wild animal next time. People make these choices on their own but animals only act off natural instinct. Kill the one that made the bad decision not the one living its life.

that video is a fake. if you notice when the lion keels over someone from behind the blue tarp flips him over and another thing is why isn’t there any blood gushing out from the lion after being shot to death. if you are a lion and you get shot by a gun you are going to let go of a person on the first shot if not the first then for sure the second shot he would’ve let go. if you were someone on the outside would you come running in like that? i don’t know that i would come running in like that at the very least i would have a chair to ward off the lion cause i don’t know if the lion is dead. one more thing if you notice there is a dog in the video that behaves uncharacteristically of the danger and the situation that they are trying to portray in the video
