Tunechi appears on the cover of XXL’s summer issue and though it hasn’t hit newsstands yet, my guy Lowkey managed to get his hands on it and revealed an excerpt of Wayne discussing the beats he’s gotten for his upcoming album, Tha Carter IV. Apparently Mr. Carter isn’t too pleased with them. Find out what he said after the jump and you can pick the issue up officially July 12th.

Lil Wayne: No, it ain’t. I just don’t have the record. These niggas’ beats been sucking. I’m putting it out there: you producing, what ya’ll doing? Get right, man. Step it up. This is coming from a rapper. One of the best rappers. I ain’t saying I’m the best no more, because these niggas is too good these days. I got old. But damn, y’all niggas’ beats is terrible! [Chad Ochocinco walks into the room] These niggas’ beats sound like Ochocino made them.”
Yikes! These producers better step it up! Or C4’s August 29th drop date may be pushed back once again!!
You need producers thats been coming with it before the storm and still going with it through the struggle! Hollar at a player I know somebody personally.
