Seven people were killed Thursday, including one ten-year-old girl, in Grand Rapids, Mich., by a lone gunman angry about “domestic issues,” The Grand Rapids Press reported.
Police said 34-year old Rodrick Dantzler was suspected of shooting five women, one man and one child at two separate addresses in an afternoon rampage.
One of the victims was a woman with whom he was involved, the report said.
A friend told the newspaper that the killings stemmed “from domestic issues.”
Dantzler was suspected of fleeing the scenes in a tan Lincoln Town Car, possibly with an unidentified female companion, police scanner traffic indicated.
Later, the occupants of a car matching that description exchanged gunfire with another car in an incident related to the rampage, police said.
Nobody was killed in that exchange, police said.
