Recently Apple sued HTC for infringing on 2 of their patents, HTC responded to Apple by stating that Apple should compete instead of suing their competition.  Apparently the  U.S. International Trade Commission agrees with Apple.

On friday the international Trade Commission ruled that  HTC’s Android phones infringe on two of ten Apple patents covered in a complaint filed by the Cupertino-based company last year.   Steve Jobs stated that “We can sit by and watch competitors steal our patented inventions, or we can do something about it. We’ve decided to do something about it,”. “We think competition is healthy, but competitors should create their own original technology, not steal ours.”   Even though there was a ruling it has to be reviewed by  a six-member Commission to have the final say on the ruling.   The patents that Apple says HTC borrowed are  “system and method for performing an action on a structure in computer-generated data,” and a “real-time signal processing system for serially transmitted data,”.  At the moment Apple is now going for the heads of  Motorola for the same patents and others that they may have borrowed from Apple.  Seems as if Apple  is trying to eliminate all their competitors on sight
