Ever watched a sprawling epic on a 13-inch screen? How about button-mashing a four-player splitscreen on a 22-inch TV? Nearly impossible—by the time you’ve figured out if it was a rock or a sniper, you’ve been head-shotted (it’s always a sniper). Yet somehow my friends and I spent a billion hours playing Halo split screen on teeny tiny televisions. We would fight like ungrateful swine to wrest control of the 37″ TV in their parent’s living room. Insult to injury: those were the days before high definition, so even on a screen that puny, images looked awful.
What I’m saying, parents of the world, is that when you have a chance to grab a 73-inch Mitsubishi DLP HDTV, you take it and prove your love once and for all. I mean, why should your kids have to go OUTSIDE to have fun with their friends? There are rocks out there. That are probably snipers.
