Heavyweight Kevin Ferguson, who is more commonly known as Kimbo Slice, improved to 2-0 as a professional boxer Saturday night with a first-round knockout of Tay Bledsoe in Grand Island, Neb.

Ferguson landed an overhand right that dropped Bledsoe at the 1:52 mark. Bledsoe (2-4) remained motionless on the canvas for several minutes before being revived.

A former bare-knuckles street fighter, Ferguson began his professional fighting career in mixed martial arts. He compiled a 4-2 record in MMA before turning his attention to boxing.

Ferguson, 37, has stopped each of his boxing opponents in the first round.
