There is a bit of a backstory here, 1st we reported that Androids Newest OS was coming, and it’s called Ice Cream, Allegedly a wonder OS, with All kinds of NEW things like Facial Recognition, which in my opinion has endless potential, and will go head up with Siri one day, back to the story after the Jump!

Ok, now We then reported that Nexus One, which came out Early 2010, and showed an example that Android Tech is moving too fast, because the NEW Ice Cream can’t run properly on on the 1st Nexus, Now let me explain something, Ice Cream is Only on a Web based Platform for the SDK, which give developers the chances to upgrade current Apps to the OS, OR develop brand NEW apps for the OS, and the fact that they could even port it does say something for the ONE, but it just doesn’t have the right Specs to run it, Now the Nexus S is a Totally Diff Story, Although I saw a Pic on EG, I ran into my guy(Nico) at Best Buy, and he’s an Android geek lie me, and he showed me his Nexus S WITH Ice Cream Ported to it(see the Different icons on it!), and although he explained that the OS is still in SDK form(Not even Beta yet, at least not for just anyone) and he’s having some WiFi problems, but over all Very Smooth!!!

UPDATE:
S/O Nico for sending in this Update!!

Nexus S ICS SDK Port “dirty” alpha
Everything works, except:
Adobe flash
Panorama shot
Labeling folders (disappears after a while)
Camcorder fails once, then works fine.

Random FCs, reboots once in a while. Not quite a daily driver yet, but fun to play around with.
