Earlier today, services were held in his hometown of Mount Vernon, NY to celebrate the life of the late, great Heavy D. Stars like Jay-Z, Diddy, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Denzel Washington and more came out to show their respects for the hip-hop legend. Even The Obamas, who couldn’t be there but sent their condolences via Al Sharpton, had something to say about Hev’s passing. Read their statement below.
