What I really want to say is three idiots who had no reason to participate in the Egypt riots were arrested for throwing molotov cocktails and the dumba$$e$ got caught on camera. They tried to hide their faces but cmon you big BUT! But what I am going to say is Three American students in Cairo arrested during the violent new eruption of pro-Democracy protests in Tahrir Square were paraded Tuesday on Egyptian TV, looking stressed and scared. The trio studying Arabic at the American University in Cairo were accused of throwing firebombs from a rooftop at the military forces struggling to keep control of the country.

Egyptian state television showed their student IDs and soda bottles presumably filled with gasoline lined up on a desk while they stood staring at the camera with varying expressions of defiance and terror.

The university identified the trio as Derrik Sweeney, 19, from Jefferson City, Mo.; Luke Gates, 21, from Bloomington, Ind.; and Gregory Porter, 19, of Glenside, Pa.

“The three boys were throwing Molotov cocktails and had no passports on them when they were picked up,” Adel Saeed, a spokesman for Egypt’s general prosecutor’s office, told CNN.

The State Department said it was working to free the students, but some of their relatives complained not enough was being done.

“I’m following my brother’s situation via news and Twitter because our phone calls are being ignored,” said Sweeney’s sister Nicole Sweeney, a grad student in Paris, via Twitter.

“The only thing the State Department has told us is that he’s being detained in a courthouse, which I think is a good thing.”

Egypt has been convulsed in a new round of bloody protests against the military, which took power after President Hosni Mubarak was ousted by February’s uprising. Demonstrators are demanding democratic elections.
