An SEC rematch is set for the Allstate BCS National Championship Game.
No. 1 LSU and No. 2 Alabama, which both play in the SEC West, will face off Jan. 9 in New Orleans with the national title on the line.
LSU won this season’s first matchup between the teams, 9-6 in overtime Nov. 5.
Alabama (.942) edged Oklahoma State (.933) in the final BCS standings to earn the spot in the title game.
