New York Knicks rookie Iman Shumpert didn’t exactly receive a warm welcome on draft night, then again rookies rarely do in the Big Apple.  When Shumpert’s name was called it was followed by a bunch of boo’s and “who is that?”  During the extended offseason due to the lockout, Shumpert was able to showcase his skills and instill hope in Knicks fans, now many believe he can be a diamond in the rough like Landry Fields.  Despite fans warming up to him, Shumpert still has to prove his worth on one of the biggest stages, Madison Square Garden.  Not only is his league debut on one the biggest game days ever, Christmas, he also has to face one of the toughest franchises in the league, the Boston Celtics.  Check out what he had to say after the jump.
