A lot happened in the last week of the regular season in the NFL.  For example,  Packers’ Aaron Rodgers sets NFL record with 122.5 QB rating, eclipsing Peyton Manning’s 121.1 in 2004 — Indianapolis Colts (2-14) lost to Jaguars & own No. 1 overall pick in 2012 NFL Draft — the Jets were eliminated yesterday from the playoffs by losing to the Dolphins (Sorry as a Giants fan, I had to throw that in there) & much more.

* Tom Brady of Pats becomes 3rd QB in NFL history to pass for more than 5,000 yards in a season….Three 5,000-yard QBs this season – Drew Brees a record 5,476, Tom Brady 5,235, Matt Stafford 5,038

* Saints QB Drew Brees breaks Peyton Manning’s NFL single-season record of 450 completions in 2010

* Saints QB Drew Brees finishes with NFL single-season records of 5,476 passing yards, 468 completions

* Patriots (13-3) clinch AFC’s No. 1 seed and home-field advantage through playoffs with win vs. Bills

*  Packers backup QB Matt Flynn set team records with 480 passing yards and 6 TD in 45-41 win vs. Lions

* Lions QB Matt Stafford 520 passing yds vs. Pack (most NFL game since Boomer Esiason’s 522 in 1996)

*  Rob Gronkowski of Pats set NFL single-season record for most receiving yards by tight end with 1,327

* Bengals (9-7) clinch AFC wild-card berth despite losing to Ravens

* Broncos lose to Chiefs, but win AFC West title with 8-8 record after Raiders lose to Chargers

* Ravens clinch AFC North title, No. 2 seed and 1st-round bye with 24-16 win vs. Bengals

* Rams will fire coach Steve Spagnuolo and GM Billy Devaney, source told Chris Mortensen

* Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew won his 1st NFL rushing title with 1,606 yards

* Lions WR Calvin Johnson led NFL with 1,681 receiving yards, Pats WR Wes Welker NFL-high 122 catches
