Lol, This is so old school!

Linebacker Rocky McIntosh did not play for the Washington Redskins against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.

Reports said he was deactivated due to being late and inattentive in team meetings. However, according to ESPN 980 Washington D.C., that was not the case…

He stuffed his bed with pillows to appear as if he was sleeping so he could break curfew the night before the game:

Besides being late for a team meeting & being inattentive, ESPN 980 was also told by multiple sources that #Redskins LB Rocky McIntosh broke curfew Saturday night in Philly. It was pre-planned, he went so far to make his hotel bed appear as though he was in it/sleeping – by stuffing pillows, etc under the blankets. He was of course found to be guilty — and ‘deactivated’ by Mike Shanahan.

We all at some time or another have probably tried to trick our parents into believing we were home by using the ol’ pillow trick. The difference is you were probably in your teens when you attempted it.

McIntosh, who turned 29 in November, was drafted by the Redskins in 2006. He only started in eight of the 15 games he played in this season after starting every game just a year ago.

He recorded career highs in total and assisted tackles in 2010.
