Scott Henson is a white Texas resident who just happens to have a black granddaughter. Henson often babysits the young girl and enjoys it very much. This past Friday while walking home from the roller rink with her, Henson was stopped by police. Officers claimed there was an anonymous report of a white man in the area that had kidnapped a young black girl. Henson was cuffed, detained, and separated from his granddaughter.
Unfortunately, ignorance is sometimes part of the uniform. I am ever perplexed at the behavior and mental capacity of those who volunteer to serve us. I pray that there is an attorney willing to file suit on Mr. Henson’s behalf [Tort Claim].
