A 12-year-old girl was found rummaging through trash after her mother left her alone in the car with no shoes and clothes in an attempt to keep her from leaving the car. The full story is after the jump.
The girl was found wandering the streets using a floor mat to cover herself after he mother took her clothes and shoes, leaving her alone in her BMW. Tracy Lynn Betts, 40, is the girls mother who also is a teacher assistant at an elementary school. Police arrested Betts on suspicion of child endangerment.
