This genius marched into a Wisconsin Denny’s telling employee’s he was the new general manager all in an attempt to cook his own food. Hit the jump for the story.
James Summers, 52, adorned a suit and walked into a Wisconsin Denny’s claiming to be a 30-year employee of the chain. He didn’t try to steal any money, rather Summers grabbed a soda and began cooking himself a cheeseburger. According to a responding officer, “[Summers] never announced he was one of the pros from Dover, but the briefcase toting gentleman wearing a maroon tie and long black trench coat was quite clear: he had been sent by corporate,” DeSpain wrote in the report. “Surprised, and a bit shocked, the 38-year-old [manager] thought, surely, this must be a mistake. … Perhaps, she indicated to him, you have arrived at the wrong restaurant.” Police discovered an unregistered taser and crack pipes on the man.
