A policeman’s seven-year-old daughter has died after being accidentally shot by her brother.The tragic shooting happened inside the family’s van on Saturday afternoon in Washington state after the boy found a loaded gun in the glove compartment.
The Marysville police officer and the children’s mother were near the parked silver Volkswagen at the time and the girl was rushed to hospital.
She was later transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle where she died today. – DM
