An angry passenger is being held on $200,000 bail after trying to force an Orange County Transportation Authority bus off the road. He grabbed the steering wheel while the bus was moving in an attempt to drive the bus off the road.

It happened just after 5:00 p.m. Sunday on the southbound I-5 near Culver Drive in Irvine, said Lt. Roland Chacon of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department. According to deputies Robert Galantine, 49, grabbed the steering wheel twice while the bus was moving in an apparent attempt to get the driver to exit the freeway.
