In random news of the day, singer M.I.A. and mild-mannered CNN news anchor Anderson Cooper exchanged some words on social network Twitter yesterday. In the midst of M.I.A. promoting a news doc that was airing called “Sri Lanka’s Killing Fields: War Crimes Unpunished,” she accused Cooper of calling her a terrorist back in 2009. Anderson was very calm about it all, and politely checked her, letting her know she had her facts all wrong. Check out their exchange below.
