Remember those naked pics of Glee star Heather Morris that hit the net? Well they were leaked from her computer after it was hacked into, and that could mean jail time for the offender. Details below.

The hacking is considered a state violation and criminal act under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act. The culprit, however, probably won’t see any jail time because he is a first-time offender. At most first-time offender usually receive less than one year no more than five years depending on the circumstances. In most cases where a higher sentencing is given, the victim of the hacking has suffered a large financial loss.

Unfortunately for Morris, if her hacker is caught there won’t likely be any consequences. However one famous hacker is now facing heavy jail time. Christopher Chaney who hacked into the e-mail accounts of Mila Kunis, Scarlett Johansson, and many others was just charged with a twenty-six count indictment of accessing e-mails and cell phones. He apparently did this for more than 50 celebrities and as a result, faces more than 121 years in prison. For now, he has pleaded not guilty.
