Sneaker-giant Adidas is launching its first Brooklyn store at the new Barclays Center this September where it’ll offer fans the latest in soon-to-be Brooklyn Nets’ merchandise.

Portland, Ore.-based Adidas – the NBA’s official outfitter – announced today that it’s cut a deal with Barclays Center to begin operating a 4,000-square-foot store there in time for the arena’s Sept. 28 opening.

The Nets Shop by Adidas will feature a wide variety of Nets official merchandise featuring a new Brooklyn brand that rap mogul Jay-Z is currently helping design.

As the Post reported in September, Jay-Z — a part owner in the Nets and co-founder of the hip clothing line Rocawear — is working with Nets brass and Adidas to design new uniforms for the team in time for when it moves from New Jersey to Brooklyn next season.

Merchandise offered at the Nets Shop will include jerseys, men’s and women’s tee shirts, jackets and other extensive apparel and items. It will be located on the main concourse level.

“No other place in the world has such a unique mix of basketball-influenced sports and style culture,” said Nic Vu, vice president of retail for Adidas North America, in a statement referring to Brooklyn. “We’re bringing the best of Adidas to Nets fans.”

While accessible from inside the arena, the Nets Shop will also be open to visitors through a street-level entrance by Flatbush Avenue when the arena isn’t hosting events.

There will also be two Adidas-branded Nets’ merchandise stands on the north and south sides of the main concourse.

“We are thrilled to form this significant partnership with Adidas and to bring one of the world’s top lifestyle brands and most inventive companies to Brooklyn and Barclays Center,” said Nets/Barclays Center CEO Brett Yormark. “The Nets Shop by Adidas will enable our fans to connect with their new team through a dynamic retail experience.”
