Actually, I had heard rumblings(at the OMGPOP Party we attended, thurs Night, which was apparently why they were Celebrating), But the News Broke Friday, and now there is a question of How much they actually went for, they are saying any where between $150, and $250 Million, Either Way, My hat’s off to them!!! OMGPOP Is reportedly pulling in $250K a Day, and Zynga purchasing them seems to have risen their stock, and given them an advantage in the Mobile Gaming Market.
Zynga’s Best Game until the OMGPOP purchase is Farmville, and Mafia Wars, which are Facebook Greats, and OMGPOP fit’s right in there, especially with the New Facebook game “Streets” coming out.
I feel especially Special since I was covering “Draw Something” Early, and was able to watch the SkyRocket story 1st hand, Blessed!!!
