Ugh. Hall of Fame voters continue to keep the great Bernard King out, reports the NY Post…
“Bernard King, former Nets and Knicks legend, was not selected as one of the Hall of Fame inductees, a league source said. King has been a nominee five times, and is currently an MSG Network broadcaster. The Hall of Fame will announce its inductees on Monday. The Brooklyn native started and finished his career with the Nets, playing with them from 1977-’79 and again in 1993. King was with the Knicks from 1982-’86. The small forward averaged 22.5 points per game in his career and a career-high 32.9 for the Knicks in the 1984-’85 season. When he joined the Knicks, Carmelo Anthony said that King was his No. 1 idol growing up, and called him a ‘no-brainer’ for the Hall of Fame at the All-Star Game.â€
Damn Bernard was the man back in the days!
