This is a direct slap in the face. If our President doesn’t feel like it is then he has serious problems. Voters in West Virginia dislike the president so much thehy voted for an inmate whose name was on a ballot because they did not want to vote for the president.

The challenges President Obama may face in November’s election were made crystal-clear in West Virginia during Tuesday night’s Democratic primary, where a man behind bars racked up a sizable chunk of the vote.

Jailbird Keith Judd, who is serving time in Texas for making threats at the University of New Mexico in 1999, garnered 41% support compared with Obama’s 59%.

Judd was able to get on the ballot by paying a $2,500 fee and filling out a form known as a notarized certification of announcement, state officials said.

Mountain State voters told The Associated Press that even though they had no idea who Judd was, they wanted to cast their ballots for anyone but Obama.

“I voted against Obama,” said Ronnie Brown, a 43-year-old electrician from Cross Lanes.

“I don’t like him. He didn’t carry the state before and I’m not going to let him carry it again.”

When asked which candidate he voted for, Brown — who describes himself as a conservative Democrat — said, “That guy out of Texas.”

According to the Charleston Gazette, because Judd secured 15% of the vote, he is entitled to have at least one West Virginia delegate at the Democratic National Convention this fall.

No one has filed to be a delegate for Judd so far.

West Virginia has never been friendly to Obama. He lost every county to Hillary Clinton in the state four years ago.

Mitt Romney, the presumptive Republican presidential candidate, easily won West Virginia in the GOP primary.

Judd claims he has run for President in every election since 1996.
