The bloodshed began after an argument erupted among six men seated in a meeting room next to the lobby of the Hilton Garden Inn near Kennedy Airport about 12:30 p.m., the sources said.

One man suddenly pulled out a gun and pumped several rounds into another man’s head and torso, killing him, sources said. The gunman then turned the pistol on himself.

The rest of the men tried to flee the gruesome scene, but all four were soon taken into custody, sources said.

Cops found the two dead men slouched over chairs in the room, sources said. A gun was recovered at the scene.

The other four men — who witnesses said may have been speaking Russian — were taken into custody for questioning.

Queens District Attorney Richard Brown declined to say whether the shooting was mob-related.

“We can’t really say,” Brown told reporters at the scene. “It would just be speculation at this point.”

The wild gunfire stunned several hotel guests, who were looking forward to leaving the city afterwards.

“I’ve never seen anything like this in my life,” said one Florida woman, who declined to give her name. “I was horrified.”

A flight attendant for the Canadian airline Jazz said his crew was glad to check out.
