If reports are to be believed, Apple’s iPod Touch & iPhone 5 display size is going to be bigger. iPod touch will come with 4.1-inch screen while iPhone 5 will come with 4 inch display

Both iPhone and iPod Touch are in for a complete makeover. A recent rumor, broken up by MacRumors, says that the new iPod touch will have a 4.1-inch display. MacRumors claims that it has got a leaked front panel of iPod touch from a supplier of parts for Apple. The front panel measures in 4.1-inch vacuum diagonally. Referring to the leaked front bezel, the site says that both the new iPod touch and iPhone will come with a bit larger display than their current 3.5-inch displays. In fact, iPhone and iPod touch enjoy same form factor, though they are two different products.

MacRumors has broken up some rumors regarding the new iPhone’s innards as well. The device will have an entirely new camera sensor and other features, the site notes. Besides MacRumors, the 9toMac and the Wall Street Journal have also covered some fresh rumors regarding both the flagship music player and smartphone from the Cupertino-based tech maker. It is, however, a fact that all rumors are pointless since the products are to come from Apple, which is famous for its strict privacy regarding fresh products.

Notwithstanding the rumors users will get a clear idea of a new product from Apple only when the company officially launches it in front of crowded journalists. The Cupertino firm has been following this tradition for long years. Anyway, here we bring to you some recent hot rumors on Apple’s upcoming iPad touch and iPhone 5. Both devices are expected to hit stores later this year. However, there is a chance that iPhone 5 may come in June itself, maybe at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC 2012).

The Wall Street Journal, citing some “people familiar with the situation,” reported that the new iPhone 5 would “at least” have a 4-inch screen. New parts for iPhone 5 & iPod Touch 5: BadGizmo Repair
It seems that many of MacRumors and 9to5Mac rumors are based on BadGizmo Repair’s recent post with a set of new parts for iPhone 5 and iPod touch firth generation. The site has listed down images of a new iPhone or iPod front bezel, iPhone 5 home button, iPhone 5 rear and front cameras. The site is, however, not sure whether these parts will appear on the new Apple iDevices.

“Are these the new parts for the iPhone 5 and the 5th Generation model of the iPod Touch? There isn’t much detail but it looks like the iPod Touch will be getting a 4.1 inch display (nice upgrade). I am hoping that this means the iPhone will also have a larger display. If the parts are already being made will the iPhone 5 be released in July?” asks BadGizmo Repair.
