After Jersey Shore’s biggest star announced she’d be living in a house “nearby” the Jersey Shore house for season 6 because of her pregnancy, the execs at MTV aren’t trying to let that fly. MTV sources have said that they would prefer that Snooki stay in the house for “maximum drama.”
Reportedly, some MTV producers are not so content with the idea of a Snooki-less house and it could mean bad things for business.
One insider said:
“She’s becoming costly [and] stressful for the show, but the show isn’t sure it can afford to lose her.”
Snooki’s explanation for not living with her fellow castmates is right on the money however:
“With all the bacteria and everyone having sex in the smoosh room, it’s just not where a pregnant person or a baby should be.â€
Even though Snooki and her fiancé promise to live close by, MTV is still not very satisfied, as they believe it will not make good television.
Regardless, the network is figuring out ways to retool the show so it still features Snooki, who has the biggest fan base out of all the cast.
