An amusing Twitter exchange between rap star Drake and T. Boone Pickens, the billionaire chairman of BP Capital, has been catching significant attention Thursday — to the tune of more than 24,000 retweets as of 12:15 p.m. ET.

The 25-year-old rapper, who ranks number five for social buzz on Mashable‘s mRank Leaderboard for musicians and bands, sent a tweet Wednesday to his 7.4 million followers: “The first million is the hardest.”

Pickens, the 330th richest man in the U.S., responded hours later, manually retweeting Drake and adding “The first billion is a helluva lot harder.” Forbes pins Pickens’s net worth at $1.4 billion.

More than 8,200 Twitter accounts retweeted the witty response. Drake’s tweet attracted 15,000-plus retweets.

Drake fired back, saying Pickens “stunted on me heavy.” Stunting means to show off one’s worth or power.

Drake‘s reply netted more than 1,000 retweets. Pickens, who has 46,640 followers, does not follow Drake.
