Rihanna’s name stay lingering in the headlines …

At least this time, it’s for something good. The Bad Gal is currently down in New Orleans filming a new Seth Rogen film, titled ‘End Of The World’ starring the likes of Kevin Hart, Jonah Hill (Knocked Up), Michael Cera (Juno) and Emma Watson (Harry Potter). She was spotted on set last night, rocking out in an off the shoulder semi-see through top and short shorts.

Meanwhile, while she’s working, every other week there is a new rumor of who she’s dating (NBA Player J. R Smith is currently the new link up in the press). Despite the constant reports and criticism, Rihanna recently told Esquire UK that she’s learned to ignore the press. When asked how she felt about all of the media attention (especially surrounding her instagram pics), she responded, ‘This is what I do. I live my life and they document it’.

She continued:

A lot of things I don’t care for people to know, but it just is. That’s what it’s become. Who wants to be bashed every day of their f–king lives? That’s not fun.

Today I could eat an apple, and ten people like it and one will not. The next day I could do shots and five people will like it and five won’t. What’s important is, you never know. You can’t do it for the reaction because it’s never going to be the same. I learned to live my life with the blinders on. At one point it was so bad, it became numb for me. It was a scary place to be.

I completely shut off from it so much, I didn’t feel anything. I didn’t feel the good or the bad. It just didn’t matter. It was all a façade. I put my guard up. It hurts when people say negative stuff but you have to decompartmentalize that. It’s not easy.

**Cues ‘Live Your Life’!

Nowadays, celebs have the benefit of documenting their own lives through twitter and instagram so Rihanna, in a weird way, is controlling what stories are put out by the things she chooses to share (excluding the tweets from her knucklehead cuddle buddies). She’s creating her own press. Which can be a good thing..
