Following his hilarious stint on Saturday Night Live, New York Giants’ quarterback Eli Manning has caught the acting bug.

The footballer, 31, revealed to Celebuzz that he’s a big fan of ABC’s hit comedy series Modern Family — and wouldn’t mind guest starring alongside Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet and Sofía Vergara if given the opportunity.

“Football comes first, but when I come home to watch TV, I’m a Modern Family fan,” Manning told Celebuzz on Sunday, prior to throwing out the first pitch on behalf of Pampers, at the Father’s Day game at Citifield.

“If they offered me a role, I might consider it,” he added.

Back in May, Eli followed in the footsteps of his big brother, Peyton Manning, hosting NBC’s Saturday Night Live, revealing that he had “plenty of laughs” backstage with the cast — and the night’s performer, Rihanna.

What happened backstage during the taping?

Prior to the show’s live episode, Manning and the “We Found Love” singer, 24, hung out for a bit.

“I got to meet her and hang out. She was very sweet and nice the whole time,” he said.

“Being around the whole cast, we all had a lot of laughs all week long.”
