Major congrats are in order for Hot 97’s own “Voice Of NY”, Angie Martinez. The veteran radio personality walked away with the prestigious “Outstanding On-Air Broadcast Personality or Team” award last week at the New York State Broadcasters Association’s Awards for Excellence in Broadcasting. Hot 97 also won for “Outstanding Commercial” (Scullcandy Rocnation Headphones) and “Outstanding Public Affairs Program or Series” (Hot 97 Street Soldiers). Congrats to Angie, her team and the entire Emmis staff!
