Hit the jump to watch a funny video about a glitch in one of NYC’s Subway Stations.

Dean Peterson noticed something peculiar about his subway station. One of the stairs– at the 36th Street stop at 4th Avenue on the N, D and R in Sunset Park, Brooklyn–is a fraction of an inch higher than the others, causing countless straphangers to trip on their way up and out of the station.

He filmed the endless, naturally-occurring gag and the result is some great subway slapstick.

Asked on Reddit how long it took him to film, Dean answered, “Sum total, probably less than an hour. If you stand there for a couple of minutes you’ll see half a dozen people stumble.”

Tripping on the subway though isn’t always all laughs, however. One redditor, sharilynj, remembers, “This scares the living shit out of me. I have an irrational fear of NYC subway stairs ever since I fell down a set in Brooklyn 4 years ago. Bloodied my legs, tore my shoe in half, bruised half my face (miracle I had no broken teeth).”

“That said,” the redditor added, “this video’s still f*cking hilarious.”
