Houston’s KHOUR reports that 25-year-old suspect Feanyichi Uvukansi turned himself into custody on July 4, to face questioning.

KHOU reports that Houston police officials arrested Uvukansi and charged him in connection with the shooting death of rapper Coy “Poppa C” Thompson from Trae Tha Truth’s ABN crew, in addition to Carlos Durell Dorsey and Erica Rochelle Dotson.

New reports reveal that the deadly shooting was linked to a previous beef involving Poppa C, and that the attack was aimed at the slain rapper. The 23-year-old was apparently involved in a dispute on June 17, which authorities think is linked to the shooting outside of Scores Cabaret in the wee hours of the morning.

Immediately after the shooting, witnesses told Houston’s KTRK TV that more than 20 shots were fired in the parking lot of the strip club. Trae Tha Truth was treated and released for his injury, while rappers like Bun B took to Twitter to express their grief at the death of two friends. “RIP Dinky D and Poppa c,” Bun B wrote, while Slim Thug added, “Im just waking up hearing all this, we was all together yesterday prayers out to the whole #ABN I can’t believe Dinky died #RIPDinky”
