A technician lost a finger when he fell onto a moving baggage belt at Kennedy Airport Monday, officials said.
Berto Duran, 56, a worker with Oxford Technical Services, was about to repair the machinery when he tripped and fell onto the belt in Terminal One about 10:15 a.m., a Port Authority representative said.
Duran’s left index finger was severed by the machinery, officials said. He was taken to Bellevue Hospital for treatment.
