With a simple, innocent tweet, LeBron James might have set the wheels in motion for a “Space Jam” sequel.

No, it’s not actually happening, yet. But during an impromtu Twitter Q&A with his followers, LeBron said he wants to be in “Space Jam 2.”

Surely out some movie executive took notice of that and a light bulb popped on in their head. Or at least dollar signs. “Space Jam” was made in 1996, and looks like it. It’s a solid piece of nostalgia for a lot of NBA fans that remember the movie fondly. So maybe a sequel, or remake, would be good for a new generation of NBA fans.
