t was announced yesterday that voice actor David Bateson will return to the voice of agent 47. Now Hitman fans can rest at night as Hitman developers already had a replacement in tow but I guess game creators had a change of heart. Hitman will be in stores this Fall
Bateson, who has voiced the suited assassin since 2000, was previously not slated to play the role. Brand Director Jon Brooke comments: “IO and Bateson have been bed fellows for over a decade and like all long running relationships sometimes absence makes the heart grow fonder. Looking back I think we were just playing hard to get.”
 William Mapother (LOST) performed the motion capture work for Agent 47 at Giant Studios. Both Bateson and Mapother join the list of talent associated with Hitman: Absolution, including Marsha Thomason, Keith Carradine, Vivica Fox, Shannyn Sossamon and Powers Boothe.
