“I’m so NY, Weezy probably don’t like me,” Fabolous raps on the hook of this track he just sent over to us. An obvious reference to Lil Wayne’s recent comments about the Big Apple, where he admitted “flat out” he doesn’t like the city. I wonder if this will spark some beef between the two, or if Wayne will look at it as Fab just being creative? Hmm! Listen below and share your thoughts!

I swear the media hypes everything up does this even sound like he’s “dissing” him ….
Get a life. Fab is not into that dumb shit but flex is like a woman.
im so NY like the folks who made playstation tho
doesnt sound like a “Diss”, but it sounds like “your name is in the hook, fuck how you feel about it” . lol its just creativity
If yall say that then he taking jabs at everybody. “Gotta go to LA to find diddy..gotta go to CT to find 50…Niggas in paris but what about the city” Fab juss nice as fuck n he really put on for NY #salute
yo fab aired if wayne diddy 50 and jay take it dat way dats on dem dat track was fire flex droppd boooooommmmmmmmbs
he is dissing him , he says “gun charge oh yea i had like two” and “no cash money from baby and im still here” .. is ya carazyyyy?
First of all Fab said half them bars already! I’m so ny like the dudes who made playstation he said that on the Hi hater remix. 2nd the no cash money from baby but im still here line was on Loso’s way the intro. I like Fab, but he lost points for recycling bars.
Black Jesus, I do feel you on that
This is no different from when jay made that mc hammer line, this ain’t no diss
Media is putting to much hype into this….
@RomoImperial that line about cash money is from “Go hard” which is another song by Fab made like 2 years ago. he’s just restating the line. NY rappers are not united too much ego. I love Fif and Jay but they got too much ego to get together and make a bangin ass hit song
Cant wait to download from iTunes. As of today, I can’t find it tho

If this is to be a diss record, where has hip hop gone, i agree with a few comment above…media hypes everything to be a diss record…. weezy will ignore it… well he better at least.
Let’s be real here. It is common for rappers to take current events and outlandish public statements and incorporate it into a verse. It is what makes hip hop current. Fab is from Bklyn, if he was gonna take a shot, he’d “flat out” make a diss track (see what I did there). However, his line about Weezy was just a mere play on words because he knows what Lil Wayne said was controversial.
In Hip Hop, we battle. If you have a problem with someone or think they are wack, BATTLE. This is what our culture is based on. Media might call it “BEEF,” but this is what Hip Hop is all about… Nine Elements

DJ HANGLOOSE,
You are SO right! I understand exactly what you are saying! Our culture is portrayed in the media as a negative thing, however, it was created to bring peace and unity. Battles are important because it is one of the only cultures these days that solve problems through artistic expression, not violence, yet still get a bad Rep. Check the elements…
