I feel like every time Chris Brown begins to leave his past in the past, something comes around and bites him right in the behind. Obviously what Chris Brown did to Rihanna was wrong and I do not condone domestic violence from either sex, but why can’t his music be separate from his past? Rihanna has personally forgiven Chris for his actions and although the picture of her beaten, bloody face is still fresh in our memories, I think it’s time to forgive Chris at least his music. A store in London is currently selling Chris’ latest album Fortune with a sticker that reads, “Warning: Do Not buy this album! This Man Beats Women.” I’m curious if they will have a label on the DVD/Blu-Ray of The Dark Knight Rises saying “Warning: The star of this film beats women, including his own mother” given Christian Bale’s past with abuse? Probably not. The store didn’t put the labels on themselves, but they are still selling the CDs that way so clearly they support the message. Often I feel like Chris Brown gets it the worst because we actually saw the pictures of Rihanna’s face, is that why the world is having a hard time cutting him some slack? I feel u Julie…that sticker makes it seem like CB has made a career of “beating women”. That was one isolated incident that we don’t know all the facts about. I don’t condone domestic violence either, but perhaps Rihanna has forgiven CB so easily b/c she played a bigger role in the fight than we know. I don’t think any person should be abused for any reason, but I do believe everyone has a right to defend themselves. I wasn’t there so I reserved any harsh, permanent judgement towards Chris and chose to sit back & observe Rihanna a little more closely. I am the mother of young man and I’ve seen how women can push/provoke and be abusive as well & all I can do is pray that my son isn’t pushed over the edge and never gives in to a physical altercation with a woman. Chris is an amazing artist and decent young man. I pray that he and Rihanna can truly get pass that experience and are able to develop healthy relationships in the future. Shame on the record store, if you feel that strongly…just don’t sell the CD…but they’re too greedy to pass up a buck…yet that rather make a feeble attempt to stand behind some weak sense of principal presented by a 3rd party. GOH!

I agree with Flex, Chris does get it the worse. He’s really a nice guy, I mean he has his moments but he’s still young and its only so much you can take (I hope he’s working on himself btw) Even though I don’t agree with this, I can’t really complain, its something that’s gonna haunt him for the rest of his life. Rihanna may of forgave him but the world hasn’t. Then again he’s not living for them, the moment he realize that, he can live! I think Rih really helped him, she reached out to him and let him know she forgives him and that she’ll always love him/be a friend.

Man, listen there is no need to defend anyone for beating down a women. I feel doesnt matter whether she is a hooker or a regular person. If someone did this its because it must have happened to them and the store should be on point. As for me I will never buy a CD from someone that hits women.
THAT’S ACTUALLY A LAWSUIT AND DAMAGE TO PRIVATE PROPERTY! RECORD STORES DON’T ALWAYS OWN THE CD…SOMETIMES THEY’RE DELIVERED ON CONSIGNMENT SO THE RECORD LABEL COULD SUE THAT HATE GROUP WHO DID THAT AND MAKE THEM PAY FOR EACH ONE. THE RECORD STORE IS JUST AS GUILTY FOR LETTING THEM DO IT AND KEEPING THEM ON THE SHELVES LIKE THAT….PEOPLE ARE USUALLY FOUND GUILTY UNDER WHAT THEY CALL CONSPIRACY…EVEN THO U DIDN’T DO IT YOURSELF…U KNEW WHAT WAS HAPPENING AND DID NOTHING TO STOP IT.
