A professor at American University is getting a lot of grief for breast feeding her baby in the middle of a lecture.
Some feel that at college boobs should stay in the dorm room, sex parties and on frat boys laptops; not in the classroom.
Many others say that she did what she had to.
Her baby was sick, and she couldn’t find a baby sitter so she had to take her young daughter to class with her.

The professor is in “shock” that this was even newsworthy, saying:
“I doubt anyone saw my nipple, because I’m pretty good at covering it. I was shocked and annoyed that this would be considered newsworthy. Do university students really need to be so mollycoddled that they should not see something I do on public transportation nearly every day?”

Many moms disagree with her statements. A mom commented:
“She brings shame on all working moms who manage these predictable issues without whining and blame. If she had a job where it wasn’t an option to bring the baby to work (chef, bus driver, pilot) she would do what the rest of us do and make it work.”

We feel like it might have been some sort of stunt to spark a debate seeing as how the class she teaches is called “Sex, Gender, and Culture.”
