After all the “fighting” between both Nicki and Mariah, American Idol is still standing with these ladies and supporting them. The the producers sent out a statement on Friday saying: “This is one of the best, most passionate, dynamic and invested judging panels we’ve ever had. Who would blame them??
Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj screaming, tweeting and finger pointing has gotten the show TONZ of free publicity! Plus, we’re sure the gals have given them PLENTY of drama to build the show around.
So, to assure fans that neither Mimi or the wigged Barby are getting booted from the judges’ table any time soon the producers sent out a joint statement Friday, saying:
“This is one of the best, most passionate, dynamic and invested judging panels we’ve ever had. We love and support all of the judges and the fantastic work they are doing, and we can’t imagine a better group to find the next American Idol.”
They claim that the ladies love each other too, accusing the media of blowing this feud out of proportion. The statement says:
“Despite all the accusations and media speculation—much of which is inaccurate—production is going extremely well today and the judges are focused on finding the best talent here in Baton Rouge.”
That means all those “inside sources” talking about backstage arguments and the nasty Tweets from Nicki herself are all just a bunch of BS??
Somehow we don’t think so….
Unless they’re ARE just doing it for the attention, as Cee-Lo Green predicted!
